This privacy policy explains which personal data we process in connection with this website and our services, for what purpose and on what legal basis. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies – for example because we work with artists in the EU – its provisions apply in addition. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.

2. Summary

Without your consent, this website sets no cookies and loads no analytics or tracking tools. Google Analytics and external media (Spotify) are only loaded if you agree in the cookie banner. No advertising pixels are used.
Fonts, images, videos and audio files are loaded from our own server – no data is transferred to third parties such as Google.
We only process personal data when you contact us (contact form or email) and to the extent technically necessary to operate the website.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed automatically and briefly stored in server log files:

referrer URL (previously visited page)
browser and operating system

This data is used solely to provide the website securely and reliably and to detect misuse. It is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and functional operation (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Vercel may process data in the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses are also in place. More information: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

4. Contact form

When you send us a request via the contact form, we process the information you provide:

first name, last name and email address
optionally your phone number
requested services and your message
optionally a link to your demo (e.g. WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive)

We use this data solely to answer your request and to prepare a possible project. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent given by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.

Your details are transmitted in encrypted form to our server (Vercel, see above) and forwarded to us from there via the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA – resend.com). If enabled, you receive an automatic confirmation to the email address provided in the same way. Resend may process data in the USA; standard contractual clauses are in place for this. If you share files via a link (e.g. WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, SoundCloud), that service’s own privacy policy applies.

5. Contact by email

When you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to respond. Our email is provided by united-domains (Starnberg, Germany).

6. Links to other websites

This website links to third-party services, e.g. our profiles on Google (reviews), Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn as well as WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta) for a direct message. This content is not embedded – data is only transferred to the respective provider when you click a link. From then on, that provider’s privacy policy applies.

6a. Spotify player

In some blog posts you can listen to songs via a Spotify player (provider: Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden). The player is only loaded when you click “Listen on Spotify”. Only then is data such as your IP address transferred to Spotify, and Spotify may set cookies. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). On your first visit you can choose in the cookie banner whether you consent to statistics (Google Analytics) and external media (Spotify). Without consent, these services are not loaded. Your choice is stored only locally in your browser (local storage, entry “fp-consent”) and is not transmitted to us. You can change or withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

6c. Google Analytics

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how visitors use the website (e.g. pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device and browser). IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. The information may be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings”. The data is deleted after 14 months. More: policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Retention

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose. We delete requests once they have been fully handled and no project results from them, at the latest after 24 months. If a project is commissioned, we keep the data as long as necessary for its execution or as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. up to 10 years for accounting records). Server log files are generally deleted automatically after a short time.

8. Disclosure of data

We do not sell personal data or pass it on to third parties for advertising purposes. Data is only disclosed to the service providers named above, insofar as necessary to operate the website or process your request, or if we are legally obliged to do so.

9. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law you have, in particular, the right to:

deletion of your data
restriction of and objection to processing
receipt or transfer of your data
withdrawal of consent given

Simply contact us by email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority – in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch), in the EU with the authority of your place of residence.

10. Data security

This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

We may update this privacy policy if the website or legal requirements change. The current version published here applies.
